End-of-Year Showcase

Last Thursday evening, May 15, Mr. Mello and Mrs. Daschle invited the engineering Advisory Board to celebrate the accomplishments of our students. The Canstruction and Robotic teams gave presentations, as did our seniors who participated in 80-hour internships as a requirement for their Senior Exhibitions. A display showing pictures and acceptance letters for 21 college-bound seniors was cause for celebration. Maribel Abarca was articulate, enthusiatic, and poised as she presented her Senior Exhibition PowerPoint presentation, which included an 11th grade web-design assignment. Altogether 20 students interacted with the Advisory Board, and proved why IDEA students are successful not only in engineering, but also in all other curriculum areas. Kudos to Mr. Mello and Mrs. Daschle for their hard work, support, and dedication to their students.
